It's so true. The barns are beautiful. I find the ones here in North Carolina tend towards the very beautiful too. But I totally get what you're saying about the running and not being able to get away. Here, it's what's hiding around the next corner. There, it's, "What can see me?"

Well, yeah, but Luke, like his father before him, is making that decision out of love. Anakin both turns to and from the Dark Side for ultimately the same reason: trying to save someone he loves from dying. I guess the key, as with a lot of spiritual stories, is the element of self-sacrifice. Love, in its more immature form, can lead to the fear of losing someone, and hence, to the dark side. Luke is in danger of making the same decision on Cloud City, and again when he tries to kill the Emperor on the Death Star. He only wins by being willing to make the same sacrifice Obi-Wan did in Episode IV, which causes Anakin, in turn, to do the same. Not killing for love, but dying for it.

In a way, Star Wars boils down to a Sting song. If you love somebody, set them free.

That is funny. I am actually a member of the DMTB. 99% of the time the venue we're playing sets up hotel rooms for us - and there must have been some miscommunication between the venue and the hotel. I can promise you though that we don't go around checking ourselves into hotel rooms as "Dave Matthews Band".

I got a chuckle out of this though, I love the picture.
