Nelson Jam, 9-19-2016

Small turnout this week, possibly related to the dance cancellation last week for the town hall’s election preparation.

Five of us total – concertina, flute, accordion, fiddle, guitar and harmonica.

What was cool was, fewer people meant MORE tune choices per musician, and we ended up playing less familiar tunes, which was an enjoyable challenge. Here’s the list of tunes:

The Peacock’s Feather
The Sailor’s Wife
L’Oiseau Bleu
Lanigan’s Ball
High Clouds
Jefferson & Liberty
Saddle the Pony
Round the Horn
Old Grey Cat
Emily’s Waltz
Blackthorn Stick
Corn Rigs
